Hello, I’m Gillian Beauchamp, Fellowship Director for LVHN Medical Toxicology Fellowship. I’m also vice chair for Education & Community Engagement, core faculty for the emergency medicine residency and an assistant professor and faculty member at University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine. I’m passionate about opioid stewardship and designing and implementing linkage to treatment processes. I am involved with this in my role as the medical director for acute care substance use and prevention for LVHN and co-chair for the Opioid Stewardship and Linkage to Treatment Committee. My training includes a University of Cincinnati emergency medicine residency and Oregon Health & Science University Toxicology Fellowship and I am board certified in emergency medicine, medical toxicology and addiction medicine. I’m an editorial board member for Toxicology Communications and Journal of Medical Toxicology. I love free, open access medical education and am the co-host for the podcast Tox in Ten: ACMT Highlights. I’m a member of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) Public Affairs and Education committees, where I project lead for the ACMT online fellow lecture library. My husband, Dan, and I are dog parents to four rescue pups.
