Interventions delivered, if not approached correctly, can actually worsen patient outcomes/responses after arrival at the ED. Veronica Pistilli, B.S, R.R.T, R.P.F.T, a key Respiratory practitioner at LVH-P. She will review the dynamics of asthmatics & COPD emergencies, COPD/Asthmatic “language” presenting from the patient, understanding Functional Residual Lung Capacity (FRLC), Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF), Airway Resistance (AR), rescue medications, dosages and “coaching” tip technics to improve respiratory care.
