Frank M. Capoccia Jr. is Vice President of Operations at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono. Previously, he was the Administrator for LVHN Surgical Services, Department of Surgery and Lehigh Valley Physician Group. Capoccia is a board-certified Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), is a past president of the ACHE Network of Overseas Healthcare Executives Chapter and is past secretary of the Heartland Healthcare Executive Group Chapter.
Capoccia graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of South Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies. He is also an Air Force, Air University graduate of Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College and Air War College intermediate and senior military executive leadership programs. He retired from the Air Force after 21 years of active duty service in the grade of Lieutenant Colonel.
Capoccia’s community service includes volunteering as a board member for Independent Transportation Network (ITN) Lehigh Valley, since 2015. ITN-LV supports door-to-door ride services for seniors and those with low vision across the Lehigh Valley.
