Elizabeth Wise, RN, FACHE, is the President of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono (LVH-P). For more than two decades she has held leadership positions at health care systems throughout the eastern United States. Prior to her role as President of LVH-P, for two years Elizabeth served as the chief operating officer and chief nursing officer at Pocono Medical Center and Pocono Health System.
Elizabeth has also served as chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ and chief nursing officer and senior vice president at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. In addition, she has served in leadership roles at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
Elizabeth earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ and a master’s degree in nursing as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Nurses Association.
