Mohammad Chaudhry, MD, FCCP

Dr. Chaudry specializes in both internal medicine and pulmonary diseases. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from King Edward Medical College and completed his residency at Misericordia Hopsital. Dr. Chaudry is fellowship-trained from Ayrshire Hospital and is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.

Jose Fuentes, MD

Dr. Fuentes is a physician with Pocono Internal Medicine Specialists. Dr. Fuentes received his medical degree from the School of Medicine at Universidad del Norte in Colombia, South America and completed his studies specializing in the field of Internal Medicine at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. He is bilingual (English and Spanish), and participates in a number of health fairs and other events to teach the Hispanic community about the importance of eating healthy and exercising to prevent disease. One of his goals is to ensure that patients receive regular check-ups. 

Dr. Fuentes provides care to adult patients suffering from a wide range of illnesses and diseases, and he is always looking for ways to help the community in general. Previous to Pocono Medical Center, he was Director of Centro Medico in Trenton, NJ and Director of Pennington Medical Group in Pennington, NJ.

Vincent Francescangeli, MD

Dr. Francescangeli has been a member of the Pocono Medical Center (PMC) Internal Medicine staff since 1983. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa., he earned his medical degree from Philadelphia’s Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. During his tenure at PMC, Dr. Francescangeli has been a member of various hospital committees and has held several key positions in the organization, including Chief of the Department of Medicine. He is dual Board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative care. Additionally, Dr. Francescangeli is a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine.

Jonathan A. Goldner, DO

A Pocono Health System Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Goldner received a B.A. from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Goldner is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. 

In addition to serving as Pocono Medical Center’s Chief Medical Executive of Medicine and Chronic Disease, Dr. Goldner is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA and an Associate Professor of Medicine at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, PA. He has presented lectures and published research on a variety of clinical case studies. Dr. Goldner also performs medical mission work in Central America with DOCare International and is a member of the NJ-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team.

William T. Kesselring, MD

Dr. Kesselring received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed his studies specializing in the field of Internal Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital. A member of Pocono Medical Center’s medical staff, he has served on numerous hospital committees throughout the years. Dr. Kesselring is a member of the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and was President of the Monroe County Medical Society from 1992 to 1994. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Kesselring is a physician at PMC Physician Associates- Pocono Internal Medicine Specialists.

Marc Keuler, MD

Dr. Keuler is an internal medicine physician providing primary and specialized care to adults over 18 years of age. As an internist, Dr. Keuler has additional expertise in treating the whole person, addressing complex and multiple diseases. He puts a special focus on health and lifestyle risk factors such as hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes and other preventable conditions. He treats patients in a relaxed, collaborative manner that encourages them to be partners in their healthcare. 

Dr. Keuler is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing in the Mount Pocono area for over two decades. He performed his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital after earning his medical degree from Drexel University’s College of Medicine. Dr. Keuler graduated from Stroudsburg High School and is a lifelong Poconos resident.

Virgen Pyram, MD

Dr. Pyram, Board certified in internal medicine, provides primary care to adults over 18 years of age. As an internist, Dr. Pyram, who is fluent in Spanish, is proficient at working in clinical settings demanding strong technical and interpersonal skills. With her strong interpersonal skills, she can effectively put patients at ease and can establish subtle and often difficult diagnoses. 

Dr. Pyram, who is practicing at the Bartonsville Healthcare Center, performed her residency at the Stamford Hospital-Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Connecticut after earning her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from The City College of New York, NY with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.

Robert Wallen, MD

Dr. Wallen holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara, located in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed an Internship, Residency and Fellowship at Metropolitan Hospital in affiliation with the New York Medical College, located in New York, New York. 

Dr. Wallen is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In keeping with our mission to provide world-class care, Dr. Walllen provides specialized care to adults over 18 years of age. As an internist, he has additional expertise in treating the whole person, addressing complex and multiple conditions, with special training in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Wallen treats patients in a relaxed, collaborative manner that encourages them to be partners in their healthcare. In addition to specializing in internal medicine, Dr. Wallen is also the Emergency Management Coordinator at Pocono Medical Center.

Melissa Zegar, DO

Dr. Zegar is a Board-certified Internal Medicine physician and has experience treating diverse groups of patients with a wide range of medical conditions. 

Dr. Zegar received her undergraduate degree from Drew University in Madison, NJ and her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Dr. Zegar is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.

Andrea Costanzo, MSN, CRNP

Andrea Costanzo is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner caring for patients at Pocono Internal Medicine Specialists. She received a BSN from Misericordia University, Dallas, PA in 2005 and an MSN in 2010, also from Misericordia.

Costanzo is Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner (FNP). Prior to joining PMC, she worked as a staff nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital and served as Assistant Director of Crisis Intervention Services, Resources for Human Development, Stroudsburg, PA.

James Kincel, PA-C

Mr. Kincel is a Certified Physician Assistant, providing patients with a wide range of internal medicine services, in collaboration with the practice physician. His focuses are the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, promoting wellness and addressing an array of health issues. He earned his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre and his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.

 


Jeffrey S. Pallas, PA-C
Jeffrey Pallas is a Pocono Medical Center physician assistant who has more than 35 years of experience practicing internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine and urgent care. After receiving his B.A. from the State University of New York at Oswego, he went on to complete his physician assistant training at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia.

In addition to holding his PA license and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, he is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

Antoinette Santiago, ACNP

Antoinette Santiago is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is dual credentialed with the Department of Medicine and the Department of Cardiology and currently cares for patients at Pocono Internal Medicine Specialists. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from East Stroudsburg University and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Drexel University. She is a member of professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners and the Emergency Nurses Association. Santiago was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing in 2007 and received an academic scholarship from Pocono Medical Center the same year.

Alicia Simon, CRNP

Ms. Simon is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner caring for patients at the Stroud West Primary Care Practice in Stroudsburg. She has more than 40 years of nursing experience, working in various areas such as critical care, non-reproductive women’s health, and nursing education (Northampton Community College and Pocono Medical Center). Ms. Simon received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, and earned her Master of Science Degree in adult nursing as a nurse practitioner from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. Ms. Simon is a Board certified nurse practitioner in adult primary care from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. Ms. Simon is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. 

Since 1987, she has given many presentations on women’s health, heart health, and wellness topics. Ms. Simon was recognized as the PMC Dedicated Employee of the Month for January of 2015.
