Mohammad Ali, MD, MBA

Dr. Ali specializes in Family Medicine, and is now accepting new patients. Graduating cum laude, he received his medical degree from the American University of Antigua in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Lynchburg Family Medicine in Lynchburg, VA. Dr. Ali also holds a Master’s of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN.

An advocate for underserved and uninsured populations, he volunteered at the Free Clinic of Central Virginia in Lynchburg to provide patient care to families with limited access to healthcare and at the Sunshine Home in in Antigua and Barbuda where he treated underprivileged and abused children. Dr. Ali is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Alvin Berlot, DO

Dr. Berlot is a physician practicing with PMC Physician Associates’ primary care teams at the Mountain Healthcare Center in Tobyhanna and at the H.A. Tattersall Medical Center in Cresco. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Philadelphia, PA, and completed an internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH. Dr. Berlot has more than 30 years of experience in medicine, including serving as a general medical officer with the United States Marine Corps, director of emergency medical services at Mid Valley Hospital in Peckville, PA and Bucktail Medical Center in Renovo, PA, and as a staff physician with Allied Services Workmed in Dickson City, PA. He also served as an adjunct professor in the nurse practitioner program at Misericordia University in Dallas, PA and as a physician preceptor for medical students from PCOM. Dr. Berlot is now accepting new patients.

Victor Catania, MD, MBA

Dr. Catania is a Board certified family medicine physician practicing at Mountain Family Care. He provides medical care to all members of the family, from newborn to the elderly. Dr. Catania received his medical degree from Medical University of the Americas in Nevis. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Catania completed his family medicine residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians.

Ian Foster, MD

Dr. Foster is a Board-certified family medicine physician who has been practicing in the Pocono community for three decades. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and treats patients of all ages from children through seniors. Before joining PMC Physician Associates, Dr. Foster was president of his private practice, Shawnee Medical Group, in Shawnee on Delaware, PA. since 1986. 

Dr. Foster received his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he graduated magna cum laude. He completed his residency in family practice at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. 

Dr. Foster has held several leadership positions while on the medical staff at Pocono Medical Center (PMC), including chairman of PMC’s Credentials Review Committee; member of PMC’s Medical Executive Committee, which oversees medical staff policies, quality control, and quality improvement; and secretary/treasurer of the Medical Staff of PMC. He also serves as Treasurer and Vice President of the Pocono Regional Physicians Organization and is currently Medical Director for Kindred at Home; past medical director of Home Health Corporation of America/Monroe County, and the Bushkill Emergency Corps.

Jacqueline McGibbon, MD

Dr. McGibbon has been practicing family medicine for the past 20 years. She provides primary care beginning with children over three months to adults of all ages. Dr. McGibbon completed a social medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center, in the Bronx, NY, after earning her medical degree from SUNY School of Medicine in Buffalo, NY. She received her undergraduate degree from City College of New York, Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education.

Oliana Ros, MD

Dr. Ros is a Board certified family medicine physician practicing at PMC PA Primary Care in Stroudsburg, Pa. She provides the full spectrum of clinical care tailored to the needs of her patients and their families. Dr. Ros received her medical degree from University of Sint Eustasius School of Medicine in St. Maarten. She then completed her family medicine residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Ros was appointed clinical instructor at State University of New York (SUNY) and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Aparna Tamaskar, MD

Dr. Tamaskar is a Board certified family medicine physician, treating patients of all ages from children through seniors. She also has a special interest in Women’s Health, and performs women’s health exams. Dr. Tamaskar also performs physical exams for the Department of Transportation. 

Dr. Tamaskar is a graduate of Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India. She also completed training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in India, where she worked as a consulting Obstetrician & Gynecologist and Family Medicine physician. Dr. Tamaskar completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.

Dr. Tamaskar is a member of the teaching staff at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, PA in Family, Community, and Rural Health in the Department of Family Medicine. She has been part of the PMC Physician Associates team since 2008 and is accepting new patients at PMC’s West End Healthcare Center in Brodheadsville.

David Testa, DO
Dr. Testa is a family medicine physician with PMC Physician Associates and is accepting new patients. He is Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and sees patients of all ages, from children through seniors.
Practicing since 2000, Dr. Testa received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Testa completed his residency in family medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY where he received the Achievement Award in Family Practice.
Before joining PMC Physician Associates, he was a member of the medical staff at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, NJ and worked as a private practice physician in New Jersey. Dr. Testa is a member of the National Osteopathic Scholastic Honor Fraternity.

Sharon Bolsar, PA-C

Ms. Bolsar is a Certified Physician Assistant, providing a broad range of care to patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. Included are the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, preventive care and other healthcare services, working in collaboration with the physician. She graduated summa cum laude from Marywood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.

Vera Filipovska, CRNP, MSN, FNP

Ms. Filipovska joins PMC Physician Associates as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) specializing in Family Medicine at PMC’s West End Healthcare Center in Brodheadsville, delivering excellent care to patients of all ages. She is a graduate of Hunter College in New York and Misericordia University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in Dallas, PA. 

Before joining PMC Physician Associates in Family Medicine, Ms. Filipovska worked as a Nurse Practitioner in PMC’s Immediate Care Centers and at New York University’s Langone Medical Center in nursing leadership and as a registered medical/surgical nurse. She is fluent in English, Macedonian, Serbian, and Croatian.
