Managing Your Diagnosis

A diagnosis of cancer can bring on many emotions: fear, sadness, anger, shock, depression and the feeling that everything you love about your life may be suddenly threatened. To cope with these emotions, you may find it helpful to begin to take positive steps to prepare for treatment. Taking action to understand your diagnosis, the treatment options available to you and the prognosis will help you feel more in control and positive about the future. A diagnosis of cancer will challenge you emotionally as well as physically, but you can find support every step of the way.
